Rodent Behavior Analysis Core
The Rodent Behavior Analysis Core (RBAC) is a core facility at the University of
Pittsburgh Schools of the Health Sciences. The purpose of the RBAC is to facilitate
characterization of the behavioral phenotype of rat and mouse models studied by investigators
throughout the University of Pittsburgh and its affiliated centers, institutes, and hospitals.
To that end, the RBAC provides:
- advice on the choice and design of behavioral test batteries
- training in the application of behavioral protocols and associated data collection
- access to a wide range of state-of-the-art behavioral testing equipment and paradigms
- advice on basic data management, analysis, and interpretation
